Tom Leedham to be Nominated at IBT Convention in June

Teamster supporters of the Tom Leedham Campaign are focusing on upcoming Convention Delegate races to guarantee that Teamster members have a choice in the 2006 election of International officers.

To appear on the ballot next October, the Leedham Slate must be nominated by the required minimum number of delegates at the Teamster Convention in June.

Delegates are elected in each local union. The number of delegates depends on the size of the local. Depending on the local union, nominations will be held in January or February with voting one month later. Click here for a complete local-by-local schedule.

To guarantee that Teamster members have a chance to vote for change in 2006, Teamster members are supporting reform delegate slates—and running for delegate themselves.

Tom Leedham Campaign DVD Available

Tom Leedham’s speech announcing his candidacy for Teamster General President is now available on DVD.

On the DVD, Leedham speaks to Hoffa’s failed record and addresses the issues behind his candidacy.  Leedham also describes his background as a working Teamster and local union officer.  The speech runs approximately 20 minutes.
